Ep 04: Trigger warning: brief references to birth trauma and SA This episode is about all things time and memory. We start by discussing our unique perceptions of time passing. We wonder how time can be perceived as going fast or slow, and we consider how our perception of time (and consequently our productivity and overall well-being) can be impacted by living in a state of constant rushing, and we discuss why different people may value time differently. We chat about a few of the mysteries of how memory works: when something is on “the tip of your tongue”, false memories, photographic memory, how ADHD impacts memories, hypnosis and memory retrieval, and if memories or trauma could be carried over from past lives.
